Biography
Santiago Amaya is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Rice University. Before joining Rice, he was chair of Philosophy and associate professor at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, where he founded and co-directed the Moral Judgment and Emotion Lab. His research seeks to understand how cultural and social variation impacts the way in which human beings make significant life decisions, pursue worthwhile endeavors, and evaluate behavior.
